Watseka is located in East Central Illinois
at the intersection of IL Hwy 1 and US Hwy 24. Watseka is
the county seat for Iroquois County. Iroquois County is 90 miles
straight south of Chicago and
borders Indiana. Iroquois County is known for peaceful country
living. It has lovely residential areas, excellent schools,
friendly neighbors and quaint specialty shops. It is a wonderful place
to raise a family. The county has some of the richest farmland in the
country and has a mixture of business and manufacturing to offer a
variety of job opportunities.
Iroquois County is centrally located
between Chicago, Indianapolis IN, Lafayette IN, Bloomington, Champaign
and Peoria Illinois.
