Alderman Candidates To Speak At Forum

All Watseka citizens are invited to attend the Alderman Candidates Forum on Thursday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the Watseka Community High School Cafeteria. By attending, you will better understand who the candidates are for each Ward, where they stand on current issues, and why they want to represent the citizens of their Ward. This year’s Alderman Candidates are Ward 1, Incumbent Richard Corke and challenger Russell “RD” Denoyer; Ward 2, Incumbent Dennis Cahoe and challengers Rick King and Mike Lenz; Ward 3, Incumbent Benny Marcier and challengers Tony Laucius and Ted Martin; Ward 4, Incumbent Bill Nutter and challenger Donnie King. Jim McRoberts will serve as the moderator with Brent Ulitzsch assisting with time-keeping. You have the opportunity to learn first-hand what the candidates’ views are at this informational forum, sponsored by the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce.

For more information, please contact the Chamber office at 815/432-2416.
