Personal Finance Company Hosts Business Before Hours

Fifteen Chamber members and guests attended the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce Business Before Hours on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at Personal Finance Company.

Darcey Smith, Executive Director for the Chamber, began by welcoming all members. Smith noted that the Chamber is sponsoring several upcoming events and registration forms are available for each of them: Ladies Night Out, the annual Christmas Parade, and two new events, the Window Display Decorating Contest and the Little Mr & Miss Snowflake Contest. All registration forms are available at the Chamber office.

Smith, then, introduced Jamie Rickard, branch manager for Personal Finance Company. Mrs. Rickard also thanked everyone for attending. Jamie has been with the company for over 6 years. She began working at the Watseka branch in April 2005. Jamie also introduced the other office employee, Lorie Taylor. Lorie has been with the company for over 3 years.

Personal Finance Company sponsored a “family fun night” door prize won by Jeff Petersen of Iroquois Memorial Hospital.

Business Before Hours is a program of the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce, designed to provide networking opportunities for area businesses and organizations, as well as to help promote the community through the success of its members.
