Chamber Hosts Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony at Cuco’s Family Restaurant

 

 

 

On Friday, August 10, 2007, the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Cuco’s Family Restaurant, located at 117 W. Walnut Street in Watseka.

The ceremonial ribbon was cut inside the new addition to Cuco’s Family Restaurant. Cuco’s first opened in its downtown Watseka location in February of 2005. The new addition opened about a month ago. Cuco’s menu includes Mexican and American foods, plus serves breakfast all day. Cuco’s is open Monday through Saturday 5am to 9pm and Sunday 6am to 9pm. Cuco’s is owned by Abacuc Rodriguez who also owns the Milford Family Restaurant.

Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors attending the ceremony included Chuck Bohlmann, Cheryl Bohlmann, Joan Cook, Janice Lubben, Darlene McGehee, Rhonda Pence, Jamie Rickard, Jeff Petersen and Craig Gocken. Mayor John Weidert, Cuco’s staff members, and fellow Chamber members also attended the ribbon cutting ceremony.
