Chamber Seats New Directors
At
the January meeting of the Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce Board of
Directors, Jamie Rickard, Scott Schunke, and Todd Myers were seated
to their first three-year term as directors. These three new members
will be taking the places of outgoing members Marti Bramstedt of
Iroquois Women’s Health, Ted Horner of Iroquois Paving Corporation,
and Jim Ward of the Village of Crescent City. Also at that meeting,
Brent Ulitzsch was seated to his second three-year term, while Chuck
Bohlmann has just completed an unexpired term of a director,
therefore seating him to his first full three-year term.
Jamie Rickard has been employed with Personal Finance Company for
over 6 years. Jamie assumed the position of Office Manager of the
Watseka branch in April 2005. Jamie is active in the Watseka Kiwanis
Club and the Iroquois Memorial Hospital Development Council Annual
Support Committee. Jamie resides in Watseka with her husband, James,
and her children, Candace Pinkstaff and Tyler Rickard.
Scott Schunke has been employed with Segur-Knapp Funeral Home for 13
years. Scott is currently a Funeral Director. Scott is active in the
Watseka Lions Club, Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, and a volunteer
head coach for the Watseka Youth Football League. Scott’s goal as a
Chamber Board of Director is continuing to strengthen business and
community relations. Scott resides in Watseka with his wife, Nancy,
and his two children, Greyson and McCall.
Todd Myers has been employed with Iroquois Paving Corporation for 3
years in their accounting department. Todd is active in the Watseka
Elk’s Club, a past board member for Shewami Country Club, and is
involved in the Watseka Park District. Todd resides in Watseka.
