Plans Underway for Chamber Annual Meeting & Awards Night

“Our Future’s So Bright, We Gotta Wear Shades” is the theme for the 2007 Watseka Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting and Awards Night to be held on Wednesday, May 2 at the Iroquois County Fairgrounds, beginning at 5:30 p.m.

The Chamber will present awards for Business Leadership and Staff Achievement. Chamber members are encouraged to submit their nominations to the Chamber office by April 13, 2007. The Times-Republic will also be honoring a Citizen of the Year and presenting a Lifetime Achievement Award at the event.

The Annual Meeting & Awards Night will feature a meal catered by Sugar & Spice, entertainment, silent auction, live auction, and lots of fun. Tickets for the event are now on sale at the Chamber office through April 27th, and all Chamber members and their employees are invited to attend.
